Sorry, I don't know anyone there and wanted to know. I did circuits there on Sunday and found it the tightest runway I have ever flown into, but it did get me taking off again properly! Poor instructor. Anyway the length isn't in ERSA as it's not registered, but I feel it's a lot shorter than Redcliffe.
Does anyone know the length please?

Maybe do a lesson in thick socks, so you can feel the pedals. I found that helped as my large clod hoppers were making me too insensitive on the pedals. Ryan

I have called finance companies and they will finance such planes for 5 to 7 years, but you may need security other than the plane. It's more or less a personal loan. You may want to look into equity on your mortgage instead, it's cheaper and you have longer to pay for it. $80,000 over 7 years is a lot per month compared to renting!

Is there any recommended brand, one that is more life like that specifically for games?
I see this one for $399 - Logitech Flight System G940, it's a joystick, throttle and pedals combo. There is also one by Saitek I think it's called?

Hi
I'm training in a Sportstar and have tried to get a flight simulator that includes it, but can only find discussions about it but no actual simulator that has one.
Can anyone recommend a simulator that has it or has it as an add on, and where I can get the add on?
Thanks

I won't stand near the window in a high building but flying is fine. I am in control and that seems to take the fear away. Ryan
How long did you take to obtain license (HP)?

I'm on about 30 hours and not solo yet, starting to land myself now. 10 years ago I was solo and had 10 hours solo but hadn't flow since. So it really depends. One thing I like about taking longer is that I get to experience a lot of different situations with an instructor so I feel I am building experience, even if really stuck on the landings! I have seen several students drop out when the money runs out, as they try predict their budget based on averages, and that doesn't work. Ryan
