  1. I used to use a JROCPRODUCT fuel transfer pump, it pumped 9 Lt min and had a cutoff switch just like a fuel bouser. I used it for couple of years and it was great, but I didn't like putting 20 Lt jerry cans on my Jabiru wing. So I came up with another refueling system, I mounted a 90 gallon an hour Hollie fuel pump on my firewall connected to a 4-pin plug mounted on left hand side of my dash and then connected back to the battery, I have a 2 m length of 4 wire cable with an ON/OFF switch at one end and the other end plugs into the 4-pin plug, I have 2 quick connect fittings at the bottom of my firewall that go to the IN and OUT on the Hollie fuel pump , I then have two lengths of 12mm clear  hose with quick connect fittings, one hose is a meter long and goes from my 20 Lt jerry can near my nose wheel to the IN quick connect on the Hollie pump, the OUT hose is 3m long and I can reach both fuel tank. I can put my Mr. Funnel in my wing tank, put the hose into the bottom of the funnel and it stays there, I turn on the switch and it takes 5 minutes to pump 20 Lt.

    Works a treat.

  2. I flew from Longreach to Old Station fly-in Raglan in 2005, Longreach to Springsure the first day 6 and a half hours. Had a ground speed of 32kts most of the way. Springsure to Old Station fly-in 5 hours, 3 fuel stops.

Flew home from Old Station fly-in in 1 day, I was doing 70kts ground speed at one stage, most of the way I was getting around 60kts, 3 fuel stops home. 363nm.

  3. G'day Brendan sorry I haven't replied sooner. I went away flying on the weekend. I've got 2 weeks off over Christmas so I am hopping to go then.                                  The rear bulkhead on Jacks T300 is home made, Iv'e still got the aluminium tubing to make the rear fuselage it into a T500 in my hanger.

  4. If you do wake up one morning all fired up to fly your Thruster to Longreach let me know, it would be good to catch up with another Thruster pilot. I was looking at the pictures of your T300 and realized it come from Longreach and belonged to a young bloke I used to work with.

  5. Look at bolly version too, 2 blade.Almost same blades and smaller simpler attacment, also can be adjusted to suit faster wing on J200, Jabiru is pinned.

Had one on J200 for few hindred hours and flys great, 125-128 tas at 2850-2900 rpm

In either case id rwcommend a dynamic balance too

jetjr I emailed Bolly today waiting on reply.

    Thanks everybody for there response.
