  1. Would like to know if anyone has problems printing paper back up plans on Ozrunways ? WAC charts will only print full a4 in complete black so you can not see anything and VNC will only print in landscape mode, in portrait it stretches an dis forms plans so the scale is unusable.

  2. Today I bled the fuel line at the pressure sender, wrapped the sender, gascolator and electric pump in thermal reflective tape, checked and used contact cleaner on sender electrical connections and flew for 1.2 hours hassle free with no low pressure warnings. Even in high pitch attitude practising stalls with idle thrust no low pressure warnings . Will now see what a hot day is like next as today was only 21 degrees.

  3. Mine has been dropping well below 0.15 even registering 0.00 for up to 20 to 25 seconds in hot conditions.

Get the occasional low reading in cool conditions which seem to return to correct pressure range within the five second limit. I have also spoken to Floods who have told me I am the only one with the problem. Have also run the drain into a bottle with no improvement. I will try the heat shield.

  4. What is the correct fuel size hose for Rotax 912uls from the fuel tanks up to the gascolator ? Does it need to be 5/16 all the way to the mechanical pump from the fuel tanks or can it be 1/4 up to the gascolator then change to 5/16 to go to mechanical pump ?

  5. What temps are you showing ?

Totally agree Nev,Always felt better once the Evans went in and the head temps went up, I was always a little concerned with lower temps than what Rotax recommended but the temps now are far more stable, still use some tape at during winter months on the oil cooler but the radiator never needs tape during normal operations throughout the year.

  6. Thank you.

Oh sorry, the above was for oil lines, fuel lines ar either 1/4" ID or 5/16" ID or whatever the Ml equivalent is. Mostly they are 5/16".Personally I don't buy fuel line unless it has USA written on it, as it just seems to last longer and therefore be safer in the long run. Especially if the lines are not accessible for a long time like in a wing, or under a floor etc......Some of the lesser fuel hose these days is just scary.........Maj...024_cool.gif.7a88a3168ebd868f5549631161e2b369.gif
