Good question, and how many flying each type?ie:fix wing/ ppc etc
-
Aerochute a are a triangle when viewed from below,,powered para gliders some have 4 wheels so square? Aerochute a are to heavy for hgfa
-
Pick it up for around 10k and fly just add fuel oh,and spark plugs now and again that's about itAs far as training, You should be able to go solo in a powered parachute in 2 - 5 hrs .You can't beat that for simple safe flying. -
Don't think so ,many powered ppg (para gliders )seem to go down ,never heard of a aerochute (powered parachute)pilot death in 21 years.id love to be flying fix wing again but can't afford it for a few more years,it's a cheep safe flying fix for nowWasn't there a couple of guys killed in an aero chute crash in NSW recently, can't remember what it was exactly, an instructor perhaps? -
Gone from 2 wheels to 3 ,less to run into you in the sky
-
All wrong ,powered parachutes are easiest ,don't even need to watch airspeed ,ready in 5 min to fly,and fits on a trailer to take anywhere ,true low and slow ,no fatalities with aerochute ever, hard to beat unless you really want to fly somewhere
-
Done 100th
-
What good would it do anyone, surely it will be seen, seems a little strange
-
I did the gfpt flew around for a while, then went ppc's ,never looked back,no point flying to bumf-ck then walking to town ,take your flying with you ,cheapest low and slow cant beat it,most relaxing way to fly,and can still fly a Cessna anytime I've got to much money...not many hrs in a 172 buys a ppc

I'd say yes

Who was supporting illegal flying?ive yet to have any rego issues at all, just asking a question ,with the amount of raa rego problems there may well be those few prepared to stuff it up for the rest.is there a big enough deterrent to make it less likely? Sorry I thought this was a valid point left a little to open ended to create discussion or opinions ,ill get back under my rock now503, posts like that will get you removed from this site...this site does not, absolutely and completely does not, support any kind of suggestion of any form of illegal flying and will not assist you in any way in this area...please refrain from making such posts again- 2

If one was flying from home for eg ,I've never been asked to pull over yet ,and without crashing on a primary school,if by chance my rego was out by a day or two what is the worst that could happen? $$$$$$$$$ how much?? It could be a really nice day to fly, chance of being found would be next to f...all. ,,,just asking ,,,,like to way up risk/reward,,

What is the fine for flying with out of date rego ?
-
This is why I now fly powered parachutes not many free flying sites in wa elect ppc's/ppg would be fun with a bit more air time available.

If someone can send me one when they have finished it may still be quicker,or I'll have to buy one from the newsagents again!or if I had a faster machine I could fly east?

I get it late in wa,seems that the newsagent has it days before I do

The aerochute is one of the safest ways to fly,it doesn't need a hanger or two people and 1 hour to set up,no runway req and take it anywhere .i don't think there have been any fatalities in Australia ever .no more ga for me...17 lts per hour is the only cost,5hrs for a lic to fly,yep I'm also hooked.
