    yes I do have an axe to grind with raa ask raa why I don't trust them see what they say blaming casa is a cop out as I do have a letter that states raa are the ones to deal with my situation and they raa failed neil

    bent undercarriage

     

    bent legs

     

    bent rudder peddles

     

    cracked leading edge of wing

     

    flap indercator not working

     

    motor 912 rotax would not idle under 1800 revs

     

    not rigged correctly

     

    bent engine frame

     

    bent steering rods

     

    no service manual no repair manual what so ever was at his repair shop for this aircraft

     

    when pointed out that the installation of the power plant was not in accordance with the flight manual

     

    not interested in an air craft that would have killed me

     

    even letters from a solicitor stiff neil you arnt worth wasting our time on

     

    on three separate occasions I have sent paper work to them

     

    but its okay for a currant board member to have a fuel tank that has leaked since new and that was reported to raa last I had seen still leaking

     

    keith I only pray and hope that your organization don't go down that path

  7. you don't expect raa to tell you the truth do you even with a black box fitted to your aircraft they raa and casa would not allow us to know what went wrong as it will impede on freedom of information and not be political correct as it might upset some one

     

    back in 2008 I informed RAAUS and CASA that an L4 LAME had repaired an aircraft without the repair manuals for said aircraft their response was stiff shit you sort it out and I have that in writing

     

    I don't trust the so called experts at the top neil

  8. A waterbombing pilot fighting a NSW blaze was killed after his plane's left wing broke off mid-flight as a result of cracking and corrosion that was missed during an "inadequate" safety inspection about 11 weeks earlier, an inquest has found.

     

    Father-of-three David Black, 43, died when his aircraft crashed in the mountainous Budawang National Park, in the state's south, on October 24, 2013.

     

    Deputy State Coroner Derek Lee found on Monday that an August 2013 inspection of the plane used an unauthorised method and did not comply with the mandatory requirements of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority.

     

    Cracking and corrosion was present but was not detected, partly because the wings were not removed during the inspection, Mr Lee wrote in his findings.
