Hi there, I fly a microlight equipped with a 582cc Rotax (grey top) motor, The engine has done 280 hrs and still runs like a swiss clock. I would like to ask if anyone knows when to do an engine "de-coke/de-carbon" servicing and whether if it's really paramount to do so, any warning signs and what is exactly involved if so. I can't find any information in my Rotax engine manual. Any comments/opinions would be greatly appreciated by you all. thanks in advance Dennis

wings Hi Jed, either a wizard or streak wing will do the job quite nicely in your application. Flying 'two up' with a Streak wing fitted, will take some attention to detail operating from a 300 metre strip but is easily & safely achievable. what type of wing do you currently have fitted to your trike? I have a wizard wing on mine and i'm looking for a Streak only for the mere reason that anything more than 50NM is just a b*%ch to fly to thesedays and an extra 10-15 knots is handy. I love my wizard, it's a fun, forgiving and very manouverable wing but just a tad too slow for me nowadays. Dennis:)

Hi Neal Hi Neal thanks very much for that info, I am in Newcastle atm and possibly moving up to Townsville soon. Do you know if there are any hangars at that location and if so, who to contact to find out if there is any space available to hangar a microlight. thanks in advance!

Hi there folks I was wondering if there is anyone who knows whether if there is a microlight/ultralight community in Townsville QLD, any airfields where they operate from, hangar space availability? etc... any information would be really appreciated. thanks in advance Dennis
