Hey Mark. Unfortuantly I don't work in the industry. I wanted to become a pilot but didn't have the grades or money to get training when I left school. I do want to get a job in the Industry. I was living in country Victoria and there wasn't many options there. I am an apprentice Mechanic. What day are you flying in at Avalon? I am trying to go to the Friday night show. Haven't been in about 10 years.

There was some rough weather around Sydney today. Could they have tracked furthur west to avoid it or could they be getting more favourable tail winds on that track?

When the curfew at Sydney Airport starts at 11pm each night, do the jets have to turn their APU's off or are they able to leave them running?

The best program for decoding ACARS is ACARSD. If you run ACARS through Plane Plotter when there is a valid position report received you will see your aircraft 'plot' on the map. As Robbo said someone is already feeding ADS-B and ACARS from YMML. Can you not see any traffic at all Chop? You should be able to see traffic going in and out of YMML via Plane Plotter. Have you paid for and registered it? You will need to configure it correctly in order for it to work too mate.

I can not see any aircradt at all. I have a Radar map with lines and triangles but nothing else. I haven't registeted it yet. I was going to do it on pay day wich is next week.

Robbo where can I find the ACARS for YMML?
