Guess if Bruce goes quite on the forum we will know he has flown in cloud one to many times.
What really shits me is people with a huge ego saying I need no training I can easily fly in a bit of cloud I know what I am doing.
Sadly these are the people that have a short life, I have known to many of these people and not many are still around because of this.
Leave the clouds to the IFR guys and live another day.
Debate ended...

But what about Geoff Edelson the root rat and helicopter crasherSomeone said the pilot was 67.Now before you all jump on me for being ageist, I'm not saying he's not capable of joining the mile high club (although I'm not sure how the logistics work in an RV9), just that he's old enough to know better...- 1

Those PC12's are bloody nice to fly.

RV's are very easy to wing stall if you get them slow.

What the??no need to answer that guys.. i just gave up flying...Really? WOW
You just do as much training as you can including PIFR for GA pilots and do your best to stear clear of them.
For IFR and commercial guys you have advanced training in this but you do your best to avoid it, if you can't you have your training to fall back on.
And thats what AFR's are for (keeping your skills in check)

But I got blue pills so I can keep going like the energizer bunny but in quick sessions.Yeah, but I got the pic. As for the second bit, that's nothing to be proud of.Ok back to topic... Wonder if the below relates to fuel starvation.
During cruise, the engine failed. While conducting a forced landing the aircraft collided with terrain. The pilot and passenger sustained minor injuries. The aircraft was substantially damaged.

Plane Wrong | 60 Minutes | 9Jumpin
In the rugged and spectacular frontier of Papua New Guinea there’s an outrageous treasure hunt going on Old war planes, bombers and fighters, that once flew in the battles to save Australia against the advancing Japanese during World War II are being plundered from the jungle.
In a major investigation, Ross Coulthart uncovers a black-market trade in the historic wrecks which are in demand by collectors and museums around the world.
The problem is the warbirds, some of which are worth millions of dollars, belong to the government and people of PNG, although that seems to be no deterrent to Australian Robert Greinert.

Does anyone know of a good kneeboard, basically I don't want to use my otterbox defender case anymore as its to bulky so looking for a pouch where the iPad will slide into and be fully enclosed with a screen protector include in the case.
Like this but need the screen cover ASA iPad Mini Kneeboard - Item No: KB-IPM-1

And is going to have TIF there in 2 weeks time . Would like to know if they have good reputation -
Yo Aviators,
I seem to keep chopping between an ipad mini and the full size and can't make up my mind on what one to use.
But anyway, what are peoples thoughts on yoke mounts?
I think it would be easier, but the voices in my head are saying you should never put something heavy on the controls.
I have asked this before but can't find the thread, and yes I am aware of the regs
