MrH thought about :star:RegalPeteI'mtheKing's reply... Many posts ago he had almost worn the seat of the NES throne out, when suddenly he & all the iconmotions were gone.. That's when the very sneaky Gold tooth rat:devil: made his move & snuck in to take over the 'stool' (so to speak) It would be a BigbashingPete needed to get that rat off the throne now:exclamation:
All the NES :clap:audience were waiting in anticipation, what would BigheroicIconicPete do to the rat to regain his rightful position on the NES throne......

The last time I was at Temora I went to the Aviation Museum.
The dispaly hanger had a wonderful oily smell & I was interested
to see that all the aircraft on display could actually fly, so I figured I should
check it out one day.
This weekend was a Fly day so I headed off late afternoon Friday to see Saturdays display.
It was a very professionally run set up. The flight line looked fantastic with quite a range of history lined up.
There was a Tiger Moth, Ryan, Auster, Steerman, Kitty Hawk, Boomerang, Canbera, Spitfire, Wirraway,
Catalina, Harvard, Meteor, Vampire, Sabre, & Cessna Dragonfly.
The commentary was excellent with a good mix of facts about the aircraft, the history as to how it ended up
in the museum & the part the aircraft played in history.
Each aircraft was started up in front of the big crowd, some of the sounds were phenominal.
Then they taxied off to perform there flying displays in front of the crowd.
At the end of each display the pilots were interviewed & they described what it was like
to fly these historic aircraft.
After the last display the crowd were given access to the flight line where you could get up close & personal & also
have the opportunity to speak to the pilots.
All up it was a most enjoyable day  & would suggest if you are heading up that way to check out the Events here or
the Museum Web page to see if a Flying weekend is on.
It's worth the detour.

Damn! There's no smiley for a breathless blubbering...
..said "we should take a page out of W.A's Police book & when we catch them racing through the Forums :no no:we confiscate the 'puter & CRUSH them"..... :DirtDOG:
:stirring pot:Aloch ponderd this...

Turbo had innocently crept into the refuge of the NES - he'd come back to a nightmare kaleidescope which was a keen aviator's worst nightmare.
He was too old for the Under 25 Forum, too young for the Old Hats Corner, too close to this too far away from that, not quite in agreement with something else, too late for it, and certainly not in the mood to look through 72,000 posts to see what the latest info is - FLYERS ARE HUMANS TOO! he cried.
Is he good at repairing wheel rims? "That's the important thing" thought Turbo.
He turned suddenly, and there was a Rat's face staring at him. I'll have to do something about that he said vacantly.................
.....The Rat motioned for Tublet to come over.. ..Turbospanner could hear his typing echoing off the empty corridors of the NES storyline, which had been battered to death by the "Y" generation. :sad:He quietly dragged his newly aquired possum tailed cap that he made on his holidays & was going to show off to the Submarolla crew & sat down
The Rat said .." Typwriter has been made to walk the plank and the WA boys were given a stern bible lesson from God.:dog: Father Pasterblast tried to smooth over the harsh lesson but with no success. " the Rat sadly looked down at his long smelly tail...& continued the story "Disquiet has now entered the NES, there has been mutiny on the crudsorolla" he said Turbforlorn looked up in surprise.." the mutinous crew sunk the sub storyline & are now rampaging around the forums creating havok....:encore:" Tubz turned....
