  1. Joe is flying a CARF Hawk 1:3.75 powered by a Jetcat 250 Pro. Guidance by Powerbox Core radio with Powerbox Mercury + iSat gyro. MacGregor 55kg servos used throughout. Electron retracts. Fully fuelled this jet weighs 28 KG. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9wmsoxgKUk
  2. Built from the Heli Classics kit. Powered by a Pahl Taurus 12 KW two stage turbine. All up weight of 24.8 KG. Length 2.7 metres. Rotor diameter 2.6 metres. This project took Lee around 14 months to complete with over 60 additional scale parts. The only example of this model in the UK. 4. Not much tail wind actually. Mostly cross wind on that day. Some blue sky so tracking not too hard but I did fly against a cloud on one reversal and nearly lost it. I'll add some colour to the wing tips !
  5. I was shocked. How can a foamie go that fast ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F57Xy-bwsmA
  6. SPECS: Wingspan: 680mm (27") Length: 660mm (26") Motor: 3536 1700kv brushless outrunner ESC: Aerostar LITE 60A Servo: 4 x 9g metal geared Controls: 4 channel (Throttle, Ailerons, Elevator, Rudder) Takes minutes to assemble. 2 bolts. Longer bolt for the wings. Shorter bolt for the horizontal and vertical stabiliser. Connect the elevator ball link. Glue on the servo covers for ailerons. Drop in your receiver. First flight with RadioMaster ERS-GPS for some fun ground speed telemetry during the flight
  7. Spectacular views from this scale Bush Plane. No doors and no side screens are a real bonus when flying FPV plus being able to see down the back of the aircraft because the rear fuselage isn't covered. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-dr3djFQ78
  8. Got my AtomRC Beluga dialled in now. C20T gimbal with XFs own head tracker and receiver is just superb with DJI O3. Moves very quickly. Barely noticeable latency between head and gimbal movement. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GcFdjJP4-jE

  13. Time to try flying from the cockpit view and getting in formation. Challenging ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbWm3ls9LB8
  14. Test flight before we attempted some formation flying... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-J--neaP6T8
  15. Head tracked FPV just got easier with the new FPV Goggles L and GM series gimbals from Caddx. Previously it has required a separate head tracking unit fixed to the side of the FPV goggles and plugged into the radio transmitter trainer port to send the head movements to the receiver which sent the signals to a pan servo and a tilt servo in a 3D printed gimbal holding the FPV camera in the cockpit. 16. Glue the nose and vertical stabs in place. Plug in the flight battery then turn on the transmitter. Launches with a throw and no intervention on the sticks to keep it flying level. Fun to fly and the differential thrust makes for tight turns and a few tricks. https://www.banggood.com/custlink/mGmSHzzoWS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gfw87K30VT8

  17. First flight with the Arrows Sky Cruiser 1400. Easy to assemble, easy to fly and looks good in the air with its high viz scheme...
  18. Eh, no. The first post was a flight on the Friday and today's post was a flight on the Saturday...which I actually thought was even better.
  19. Originally powered by 4 turbines but now converted to electric ducted fans by RamyRC for Tyler Perry. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0ayT4AMcck
  20. Top weekend at Old Warden Aerodrome ModelAir event supporting Stuart and Andreis from HobbyKing. Flew several times with 12 year old Finn attempting to do some half decent formation flying with the new Avios Super Tucano that's coming out in August. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEelBvNaxQU
  21. Scratch built Beechcraft Model 18 powered by twin Saito 90 3 cylinder radial engines by Bernd at Airliner Meeting 2024. Doesn't get any better than this. Very well flown. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRvuk9ORkAQ
