  1. As last year I visited this Show with a small group of radio control modellers who put on a display just before the full size program. Was great fun to be part of that. Then I sat back and took video of some of the full size aircraft. It was a great show again.
  2. A 2 year project for Paul came to conclusion yesterday with maiden flights at Middle Wallop, UK. A stunning looking model. Powered by a KingTech 210 gas turbine engine. Highlights...
  3. This is based on the actual full size flown by Skip Stewart. It's a new model sold by Horizon Hobby. By far the best model of it's size I've flown yet.
  4. Super scale detail on this micro Apache and it flies so well.
  5. ...it's all part of the hobby. I take a lot of video so I see a few here and there. Enjoy!
  6. RC as in Radio Controlled. My primary hobby but we do get asked to fly our larger aerobatic and jet models at full size events and I video both types of action for my YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/c/EssentialRC
  7. I've seen gyrocopters fly at Popham airfield, UK several times. Have always been fascinated by them...but this was first time I've seen an aerobatic display. Super impressive. He even flies hands off!
  8. Stunning display by Martin Pickering...
  9. Guy Westgate leads the GliderFX Team in this full size musical pyrotechnic display to open the show. Stunning !
  10. An exact re-creation of the Klemm down to the internal structures and materials used. Just astonishing the skill that went into creating this. Build thread here, http://www.ghostsquadron.co.uk/klemm_25.html
  11. Stunning use of pyrotechnics in this display...
  12. I was part of small team of RC modellers that finished our lunchtime demonstration. We were based next to the commentary position. Can't describe the feeling of dread when we saw it happen in front of us just beyond the perimeter. Thoughts are with the casualties and those affected. There was obviously no flying for the rest of the day with the exception of Vulcan which made a slow respectful slow pass.
  13. Powered by a Wren 160 gas turbine engine. 11 feet wingspan. Weighs 58lbs. Flown by Andy Johnson of the at Cosford Large Model Association 2015.

  15. Amazing 550cc flat 4 powered 55% scale Yak 54 takes flight with some amazing aerobatics that even the full size can't perform at low altitude...
  16. Dramatic end to a flight that was going really well. Hope to see it fly again later this year.
  17. Steve and Matt Bishop flying their big BAE Hawks...ground and onboard views make for a fantastic video...
  18. These guys were good. Was lucky enough to see them fly at Weston Park International Model Show.
  19. This kid can FLY! He was in and out of the clouds a couple of times during the routine...
  20. Thanks...these are mine. I am mad about Eurofighter Typhoon and just going plain FAST!
  21. Flight enthusiast but chronic fear of heights which I'm hoping to resolve in near future by taking some flights out of Popham Airfield later this Summer...sure I'll love it when I get off the ground...otherwise my main hobby is RC model building, flying and filming and shows and events for the enjoyment of other modellers...Cheers Dom An example of my recent work and the subject matter...
