Teckair couldn't have said it better

- at about 4 minutes flight time, the pilot conducted a series of manoeuvres including steep turns, steep climbs and descents, manoeuvres that were consistent with negative g3] and yawing4] the aircraft left and right
- after about 6 minutes flight time, and after a second series of yawing and other manoeuvres that were consistent with negative g, the engine power momentarily reduced before recovering
Looks like they never changed their attitudes

Could you let me know what her biography is called would be a great readI have a copy of her biography.I'm deadly jealous about the many Spitfire flights but am in awe at her mastery of the Tempest, Halifax and Lancaster all with no check flights, just the little Blue book of pilot notes.Kaz

I'm not sure if in the real scenario if their gps was being jammed the guys they land beside would be so friendlyThey were practising GPS and magnetic field jamming at the time -
Turbo there would be no benefit to RAAUS getting involved with this particular argument. All it will do is bring recreational aviation into the limelight and with piss poor reporting we know where that will end up

FFS is this guy serious, some of these guys seriously need a smack in the mouth. And to think Journalisim is a University Degree. I think my three year old son could do better.Commenter: "The onus is on the pilot to check the plane before each flight to make sure everything is working properly, and to either not fly it until it's repaired or to commence repairs themselves if able to do so. Therefore, portioning blame onto the pilot is quite acceptable as he either didn't perform these checks or ignored potential safety issues."My response: "So.....is it normal that your icy cool stare at a piece of complex machinery just scares it into submission and makes it keep working forever?"

I just google earthed the airport as I have never been there. How on earth did any councillor in their right mind approve the development of that shopping centre. FFS the piano keys of runway 35 are level with a carpark and if you were using 17 what hope would you have in the event of a engine failure. These people need to become criminally liable for their decisions. Given that it's been there since 1921 I'm sure it was there first.

I don't think they got off Scott freeInteresting that Yen gets a tap on the shoulder and effectively please don't for that again (a measured response in my opinion) ...Yet 'motorkite dreaming' appears on national TV for 6 weeks with - no matter how you try and defend as fun- multiple blatant breaches of pretty much anything you could consider apropriate or legal flying ...I know CASA are not the fastest at prosecuting but I am really hoping to hear REPORTS of the RAAus action against them in due course

Judging by that video what a f wit

Without taking any credit from the guy for making the landing would admitting he didn't have enough fuel reserve for a alternative strip be a good idea to the media:loopy:
