  1. To whom it may concern, it is very important to submit a response to Casr part 103. According to all reports RAA are not happy with our interest so far and are encouraging all members to take five minutes of their time and go on line and mark (acceptable without any changes) to all the questions. That's if you agree of course. Please help, as our future depends on it. Thanks Fellows, Mike

  16. Hi Fozzy, Storch are at this very moment fitting floats to one of their planes. as soon as it gets the go ahead it will be flying all over the country as a demo I will keep you posted. Also the Rampos has just landed, it would be ideal for mud or rough water, look it up on the web or contact Rod Tyson at Redcliff .freeflying regards Mike
  17. Hi Philip .as a fairly recent member of this forum I wish you all the very best in your flying career I have just passed the test for my licence last week, for me it has taken 9 months about 30 hrs of actual flying, the book work for me was the most difficult as i am much older than you and it takes longer to digest it all,However you have to stick with it, Try and do it in a short space of time rather than prolonged intervals as you tend to forget what you learned last time and you spend too much time revising and time is money Happy flying and above all enjoy Mike
  18. Hi Don I too drove to Wagga from the Central Coast to find the most wonderful ultralights on the planet My favourites were the Texan, Storch with folding wings. Esqual and not forgetting the Tecnam. It would have been a fantastic weekend except for the horrible wind factor Hope to be back again next year. Mike
  19. Hi Alan, Half your luck flying a Tecnam, its my dream some day some way to own one.Anybody interested in sharing a tecnam in the hunter region call or reply on here. my phone no is 0408203362. cheers Mike
  20. I'm glad you found us at the forum James I'm ready to fly the flea when it's ready You like your food too much to be able to fit in it. Have fun Mike
  21. Hi Trevor, Putting a plane on line in my opinion is not the best move you could make ,if its abusy school you may not get a fly when you want it ,also the maintenance costs are very high and the aircraft gets a good hammering. the other alternative is Flyshare, you and a few of your friends should get together and ring greg on 02 9918 8375. He will put a plan together for you. You will be surprised how little it might cost you Happy flying Mike
