I flew out of Girona Airport in a Bristol Britannia a few days after the airport opened, after holidaying in Sant Feliu back in 1965. That goes to prove how old iv'e become. Good luck with the Zenair upgrade. You might find it a lot hotter to fly with it's bubble canopy in the Spanish sun, whereas the flash should have given you a bit of shade with it's high wing. I was surprised to see how much of inland Spain resembles many parts of Australia. The numbers of olive groves and cork tree plantations in Spain is amazing.
