motzartmerv
I reckon the aeroplane is much happier to crab, it does it naturally anyway. Before the fence, kicking straight and wing down into wind works pretty well. The wing down method i dont feel is as suited to lightys. Slipping all the way down final, in gusting xwinds can become a handful for most pilots, and the wind strength generally reduces with altitude, so the notion of not knowing if the controls will remain effective is a bot of a no brainer. Horses for courses i spose....
