I know! There`s no comparrison between the two but as I recall, the concept of the Wheeler Scout came from the mast and sail of a boat. It did fly.

 

With modern technology and materials, the concept should be feasible.

Way out all right. Think the guy might be more of a sculptor or interior decorator than an aeronautical engineer. As a seaplane it would want some pretty flat sea. I'll give it a miss, thanx.. Nev

I think we all know that everthing starts from an idea and a prototype,however,it doesn`t necessarily follow that the idea will be a sucess but

 

nothing ventured,nothing gained.

 

I got the impression that once on the water the wings would become a sail.

Ps, At the moment, we have a complete whiteout and it`s raining. Went flying yesterday afternoon but I doubt i`ll be able to fly today.
