Where ya at? Pretty nice here most of the day (Western Sydney), aside from a brief rainshower earlier. Wish I was flying this weekend :-/

Coped a caning all through the week,here in the Cairns area! Strong winds and rain all week. Did a few circuits between showers,just for the heck of it.

 

Yesterday was one of those truely miserable days. Rained all day! looked like it would never end..... Woke up this morning to one of those, great to be alive days. Like magic,rain and wind all gone. Decided to do some maintenance to the Drifter then take my mate and neighbour, John The Ausi Pom, flying.

Being still on the subject of " Great Wether "! At the moment the Babinda rest area is full of "Grey Nomads" getting away from that cold, miserable stuff,down south.... The rest area is on the side of the old Bruce Highway, on the bank of the Babinda creek, about 1klm from the town. Took these photos yesterday around 5 pm.
