does anybody know anything about this type of ppc

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

A mate of mine has this ppc on his cattle station near Townsville,It was previously owned by his uncle who received ppc Training and then bought this contraption he flew it once in gusty weather and nearly parked it in a tree and that was the end of his ppc flying career.

It got packed up and parked in the hangar and hasn't been touched since. Can anybody provide any details on the type? its also for sale if anybody is interested in making an offer.

It's called a tecnochute and have been out of business for some years now.

It was based on the old smaller aerochute chute.

I looked at that machine a few years ago out at the Towers. Back then it had a bent frame from heavy landing and the chute was a car cover only ( unsafe to fly).

There was also a bit of corrosion on frame and bolts. The 503 has been sitting for way to long and is probably a throw away also. If you got it given to you and you had time and money...

Graeme.

Sure was an interesting gismo in its heyday if it had one.I like the large control stick between the legs.Goodluck with selling it, you never know
