XAIRVTW
Thanks eightyknots great read.Metalman I realise there are huge advantages to a 912 but I have two issues. The difference in price means the difference between flying sooner or waiting a lot longer to purchase and secondly it might be a sick fetish:sorry: but I love 2 strokes. BLA82 If your at Temora for Natfly over Easter I plan on flying my Xair Hanuman there your welcome to have a look over it.
aj_richo
BLA, there is a Sonex kit available at the RAA Members Market... if you'd prefer to build in metal rather than tube and fabric and can handle a 4-stroke like real aviators. LOL They are pretty good bang for buck, especially with a Jab3300. Some enterprising types have fitted and flown a Rotax 912 successfully. This one includes an Aerovee VW conversion as well. http://www.raa.asn.au/market/ad.php?id=3915
Soleair
What about two MiniMax's? Then you can have one each, fly with a 2-stroke, and still save money!
