I see some drifters a little while ago have got some sort of rubber set up between the exhaust bracket and the engine. Can someone show me their set up with this rubber mat in place, and where can I source this rubber with exhaust brackets. This is my set up and thinking of changing it. M61A1 Posted October 6, 2014 Share Posted October 6, 2014 I have a similar setup on mine, I just changed the clamps on the exhaust so they come up the inside vertically, and used an angle bracket to replace the two tabs coming off the engine mount plate. What that does is load the rubber mounts radially, rather than the bending load as shown in the pic. Seems to be effective. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
