Graham Pukallus
The Jimbour Opera situated just North of Dalby was on today, with some 2,000 + people attending with a few government ministers arriving in style to officially open the event. The day was picture perfect with some interesting aircraft attending, the Heritage Listed Estate with a great bitumen runway was the perfect backdrop to today's opera festival. Something different for a weekends fly away. This is a bi - annual event and look forward to attending again, the flying visitors were made very welcome upon arrival.

Graham Pukallus
I had no idea this was on..... Was looking for places to go while staying fairly local yesterday. We did'nt know till the day before and was'nt sure about the weather, in particular, low cloud in the morning, we did'nt depart Caboolture till 11.15. It would be the perfect venue for a RAA flyin site. Lots of past aviation history there. Will follow up what other events they have in the future and will post them on this site.
