Trip from YBAF (Archerfield) to YCFS (Coffs Harbour)

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

I recently did a Nav to Coffs and back from Archerfield, in a RA Registered Sling 2, and thought some people here might find it interesting.

I already wrote it up on my blog, not sure if its against the rules to post a direct link, but assuming its not, if it is Ill copy and paste the content:

Thanks!

Hi NF,

Very good write up and pix.

I notice what looks like a top curtain or blind for shade!

I have been against low wing bubble canopies for heat reasons especially our way in summer, this looks like an answer to my concerns.

Any info would be appreciated

Cheers

PHIL.

Gday Phil, As far as I'm aware, it came with the plane, but I do know that its just two suction cups at each end. Ill see if i can find a brand on it when im down at the school next.

Not me. Must have been on break (know who it is though, not on these boards)

Ah shame! Either way, I appreciate the work you guys do! :D

And thanks again to everyone for the feed back :D

Shags, I wonder if I know you. Do you ever visit the full moon hotel?

Is that a euphemism?

I should probably have said full moon hotel, or the Osborne as I still call it. I have met a few ATC there thanks to a fellow called Geoff!
