kasper Posted March 10, 2016 Share Posted March 10, 2016 Query on my mind is given the lift from a wing is based on either/or both of the pressure differentials top/bottom of a wing and deflection of a mass of air equal to the mass of the aircraft how is a full span set of fans under the wing gonna work other than as a jet? The upper 'wing' will have significantly lower pressure under the wing than above = negative lift and while this may be cancelled out by the pressure differential from the lower wing the full span blast of air is gonna stop the 'wings' from deflecting much air mass downwards ...
