Rich here, new to this forum and trying to get back into aviation. Need to LOSE 60 pounds and FIND $???K. I, also, still believe in Santa and the Tooth Fairy. On the first count, I've started the Paleo Diet. On the second count, I don't have a clue. Keep you posted........

Good luck with your diet - cutting out/down carbs and sugar certainly helped my brother lose a stack of weight, and I believe Paleo goes further than that, so you should succeed! As Tony said, maybe the tooth fairy can help with the cash - how many teeth do you have left?

For what it's worth, I found losing the first 30 pounds easy but am stuck there at present. I need to add a lot of exercise to the dieting, but I'm a lazy b.... and prefer to spend time in my workshop or drinking coffee at the aero club. Welcome.

I decided 17 years ago that 238 doesn't go with a 5'6" frame. I lost 70 pounds in 4 months and hold it around 170 today. It's a struggle sometimes but worth it.
