Why is the Off Topic Forum locked

The new Whats Up Australia (.com.au) site is coming along nicely. I have just completed the migration of all the users, threads, posts, post attachments and more into a clean site on my local PC. It is currently a bare bones site with no features or enhancements all of which I will now start doing.

 

The site will be live late today with what features I can get into it and then over the next few days more will be added to bring it up to this site's standards like Classifieds, Media etc.

 

For those sending me messages on why they can't post in the Off Topic forum here, this is why as it was locked at 4am this morning when I started preparing the migration.
