eastmeg2 Posted December 6, 2007 Share Posted December 6, 2007 Hi Jason, I definitely recommend "Bigger is better", when it comes to windsocks. We usually arrive back over our strip at 1000ft AGL and our 8ft windsock is just the right size to give a meaningful indication of what the wind is doing on the ground.
