Frankus1aust
I could be wrong but I heard the South Americam Storch was grounded in the USA for a while. Worth checking.
Hargraves
G,day Dave I own a slepchev storch muster 100 hp 912 and they really are an amazing aircraft in stol preformace, the best ive managed in landing roll on a flat strip is 35 meters measured by 50 meter marker points, and watching my instructor playing with her from the ground touch down point, all you could hear was the play of control surfaces at roll out, it was that slow and quite eh. However Their is no free lunch and the price is airspeed and ride comfort when it gets blowy and thermally, I strongly suggest you fly one for a couple of hours first befor commiting yourself to a build or purchase as they are a special aircraft mostly second to none in stol but oh so bloody slow, eh. Cheers
