It's really wet here atm!

Today is a no fly day here too. Got the occasional thunder storm passing through; Each one with its own gust front. The TCUs look very majestic with sun on them in between the storms.

 

We still don't need water wings though Dex!

I flew to YWCK last weekend and had toyed with the idea of staying a day or two extra to wait out the windy weather before coming home. Sure glad I chose to vamoose quick smart! I would have been stuck there still; the overnight bag would not have coped with a week or more away.

 

What kit do others carry for such a contingency?

Been shockingly windy here for the last week too and yesterday, well a nice stat high of 1027 so you know what I did :D Literally pulled the cobwebs off and went flying! Looks good mid-week here too so I'll be doing the same again :)
