winsor68
Does anyone have any advice on setting up a computer based logbook (in addition to the traditional paper one of course)...
BigPete
G'day Cobber, I use Garmin Flightbook which is set up to read data from my GPS. You can however enter data manually. Coupled to Garmins Mapsource (which shows your tracks on a map overlay) it is a terrific tool. Your other option would be to set up a spreadsheet which could be configured to add up hours, distance, fuel used etc etc. regards

shags_j
That's ok. But wait till you try it before you thank me. You coudl be cursing me within a week. I'd like to get the software so that users on this forum had a say in it's direction and features and hopefully I would be able to modify it appropriately. I don't think it'd be too difficult to implement if you're fluent with excel.
