Welcome to the forum Clinton, not only are there some great flying people but we also have some great looking people on this site.
I mean so say, who wouldn't fall in love with a cuddly thing like Brent. .

Hi Scott, are the photos you take copyright?

Slightly off topic, when my wife was nursing she asked a trainee nurse to give Mrs so and so this suppository; some time later she asked the trainee nurse if she had done so, to which she replied "yes, I gave it to her with her morning coffee". True story.

I was reffering to his new steel benches in his photos. (benchmark)You may joke, but I HAVE seen design specs and photos in a draft document he showed me on his last visit. Just because he chooses to keep his cards close to his chest, doesn't mean it's all smoke and mirrors. BE PATIENT ALL OF YOU.Alan.

Hi Jean-Pierre, Where in Brittany do you fly from.
I used to fly over Brittany regularly over 50 years ago when I lived in Guernsey (Les Isles de Normande).

Not sure, even a Google search didn't help, I guess I am a bit out of my depth answering this one.How deep does it get?Alan.

Someone has obviously learned how to watch their P's and Q's.Visited Moorabbin late yesterday afternoon and was impressed by the tidy parking at Oxford Aviation Academy. All their Cessna 172's were parked in alphabetical order - VH-EOP, VH-EOQ, VH-EOR, etc.Alan.

Yes, I have walked on and driven on in a four wheeled vehicle 40 yrs or so ago but it must have been in drought conditions'Ever walked onto Lake Eyre? The first 20m is nice and firm. The next 20m you make progressively deeper footprints. Then your boots get sticky clay on them and any vehicle would get bogged for sure.I don't know how Donald Campbell made a speed track there, it must have been during a big drought.I was driven by an experienced local not long after coming to Australia, also flown over the lake when in flood without floats or a life jacket. .

Just a thought, if I wanted to land on a salt lake just for the fun of it and became bogged, could I still claim damages from my insurance company???
Alan.

I would take the pilot's version of what happened with a very large pinch of Lake Eyre salt.

worth a try but the recovery may be a bit difficulty. .
Just a branch of Alan's sense of humour.

When I first met my wife I was roller skating quite fast around the rink and she was stopped in the middle with her friend; her eyes were fixed on me skating when she took off at high speed and accurately intercepted me, the impact was so great that we both fell in a heap on the floor.....and that's how we 'fell' in love. True Story.
PS Had she been looking to the side of me, she may have married the guy behind me.

Stone the crows Neil I was so engrossed reading your post that even I panicked, fell off my chair, and nearly squashed my little Pomeranian dog.
Don't worry though, I gave up flying two years ago.

Pilot seemed to be happier after he landed than when he was flying it.
He could have smiled at the camera.

We often think that heading for a road is not an option because it is illegal to land on a road. A road is often the best and safest option.

My Cub must have been nylon because I used to climb one of its ladders to refuel.
The sheer joy of it.
