  1. By the looks of things it was a cloned Facebook profile of a well known breeder.

The first question he asked the wife was "where do you live" (Queensland) then he said he was in Sydney and gave a address near Camden, asked for our full details and a $250 deposit..... he went quite when we said we had a friend who lived close by and they could go and look at the pup for us.

  2. The wife is looking at a puppy from a person at Elderslie in NSW, and with all the scams on Facebook we were wondering if someone nearby could go and check that the person and puppy are real. Not something that I would expect someone to drive 2 hours for.

    But thanks for the reply.

raaus had group g in its grasp and now casa has thrown it out the window with this new medical.

i guess the only advantage with raaus is the members insurance policy.

    Class 5 medical gives you....

No membership fees, no aircraft registration fees, can currently fly in controlled airspace and up to 2000 kg certified MTOW.

But no good for me as I need to be able to take more than one passenger.

    So !.

Such a little thing as changing the " fuel collator drain valve " to a "  none " tso'd cheaper or available type , Will void your " aircraft " approval.  Only for your insurance .

    ( I have been trying to get a replacement "  Curtis 1/ 8" N P taper " ) .

Superior Air Parts at Archerfield has them.

  5. In the Lockyer Valley area Flightradar24 won't pick you up unless you are above 3500 to 4 thousands feet.

We are in a very busy area between Archerfield and Toowoomba, I put in a request to host a unit but was declined, and while it is only for people on the  ground to watch on FR24 it is handy to check if your Skyecho is working.

This morning's circuits. ALOT better sitting in front of the compass with a OK view of the sky... (cant see behind airplane too well)
but not perfect. Had a cloth over it (like Hillary and the emails) to avoid marking the wind shield.

Do you get feedback through your headsets from the skyecko?

I'm getting a lovely ticking noise through mine.

Does not seem to make a difference where I mount mine. I have tried two different Skyecko units and they both do it.
