Mile high club flight?

By the looks of things it was a cloned Facebook profile of a well known breeder.
The first question he asked the wife was "where do you live" (Queensland) then he said he was in Sydney and gave a address near Camden, asked for our full details and a $250 deposit..... he went quite when we said we had a friend who lived close by and they could go and look at the pup for us.

I live about 30 minutes west of Camden - can I help?
Thanks but I'm 99% sure it's a scam.
Thanks for offering to help.

The wife is looking at a puppy from a person at Elderslie in NSW, and with all the scams on Facebook we were wondering if someone nearby could go and check that the person and puppy are real. Not something that I would expect someone to drive 2 hours for.
But thanks for the reply.

Asking for a favour from someone living near Camden, not aviation related.

raaus had group g in its grasp and now casa has thrown it out the window with this new medical.
i guess the only advantage with raaus is the members insurance policy.
Class 5 medical gives you....
No membership fees, no aircraft registration fees, can currently fly in controlled airspace and up to 2000 kg certified MTOW.
But no good for me as I need to be able to take more than one passenger.

Must have hyphen after first two digits displayed. My Drifter had 250404 on the boom and I had to change it to 25-404 or 25-0404
But you must use the full four digits during your radio calls ie: Drifter 0404.

So !.
Such a little thing as changing the " fuel collator drain valve " to a " none " tso'd cheaper or available type , Will void your " aircraft " approval. Only for your insurance .
( I have been trying to get a replacement " Curtis 1/ 8" N P taper " ) .

It's been a good experience, I've flown 3 different Warriors and 2 Archers in the last 3 months.
What are the rego's?

At least it's correct on a pusher aircraft.

To add to the confusion with the chokes, the left side has a "R" on it and the right side has a "L" on it.

Did you purge the oil system? A rough running Rotax can be more than fuel and spark.

Have you looked up your rego on the FlightAware app, it may show the last location if it is in range of a receiver when turned on.

Silly question, it's not under one of the seats of the aircraft is it. Mine was missing. (In my own hangar) it had fallen off the windscreen and was under the seat.

Any one got a half life A4A, A3A, A4N or A4M lying around? Got a 140 that needs more power. 🫡

The weights and C of G in your file "weight 2" are at empty weight, the C of G you state from Jabiru are at MTOW.
Where does the C of G sit when you are in the pilots seat with both zero fuel and at full fuel?
Lots of aircraft are forward of C of G when empty.

In the Lockyer Valley area Flightradar24 won't pick you up unless you are above 3500 to 4 thousands feet.
We are in a very busy area between Archerfield and Toowoomba, I put in a request to host a unit but was declined, and while it is only for people on the ground to watch on FR24 it is handy to check if your Skyecho is working.

Do you get feedback through your headsets from the skyecko?
I'm getting a lovely ticking noise through mine.
Does not seem to make a difference where I mount mine. I have tried two different Skyecko units and they both do it.

The wife's family has had many English bull terriers over the years, very loyal dogs and she has her heart set on one after the loss of our Staffy.
