  1. Select classifieds in the menu, select the group ( e.g. aircraft, engines etc). You will then see a box that says (no prefix), select the type of ad here, e.g. wanted then add a title where it's says thread title. You will the see other text boxes to add further details. Then select Post at the bottom of the page.

  2. I think it comes down to more than just stick or yoke. I can use both nowdays with ease but it was not always that way. I learnt on Cessnas but once getting my PPL I did my tailwheel endorsement in a Decathlon. I am a left hander and the problem for me was not the yoke to stick change over...it was the change of throttle/ flight controls to opposite hands! I tended to over do the elevator response until I developed the muscle memory in my right arm when flying the Decathlon.

  3. You should see the number of complaints about Flight Centre. They were charging $300 per person cancellation fees and the wait for a refund is over 3 months. Now the have capped it to $600 cancellation fee. Many unhappy ( non) travellers on a couple of Facebook sites. My wife and I were to fly to the UK on ANZAC day for a month. Booked flights on flight centre site, they will only give us credit to travel next year. Got back 75% of motorhome hire but will be out of pocket $4000 for other expenses that I can't get back.

  4. It looked like costing nearly as much as the real thing

Two of the 'sit in' ultralights I have owned cost me less or approx the same as the turbine and associated model and accessories!! :cheezy grin:

  5. Can't go flying at the moment so I have dusted off the stalled model builds. Working on my Balsa USA Third scale Super Cub and started on the strengthening mods on the Falcon 120 prior to fitting my gas start King Tech K-80 turbine and gear.

  6. I have not seen the iPad version since a bought an iPad 2 , years ago, did install a trial Ozrunways then but have RWY on my Android phone and a Samsung Galaxy Tab since the wife claimed the iPad. Happy with what's in RWY... what's in Ozrunways for iPad won't hurt me if I haven't seen it!!!

Found the RWY software very easy to learn and stable on the Android system, never had a software crash or lockup with RWY. Don't know why someone needs to familiar with Android software. Once RWY is installed just click on the icon to open and use.

  7. Fancy running a raffle when they had not even guaranteed they can deliver, that's deception! I bought tickets in advance not knowing for sure whether I was able to attend due to work commitments but was enticed to buy because of the raffle. I did not end up going.....so they should be refunding my ticket costs I reckon!
