  1. If you get a chance at the Air Show drop in to site 14 and say g'day to Paul and Rolly from Border Aerospace Fabrication. They will be doing a demo on metal fabrication,A bit of Wheeling and patching. These guys are both LAME's. So if you have any aircraft repair or fabrication questions these are the guys to see.

  8. Complex the Vampire maybee more complex than it need be.And a bit over priced i think,I would say future production of this aircraft is unlikely.
  9. We make them like the factory did in two halves upper and lower.More like a boat it's easier to put the fittings in that way and i can rivet 99% by my self.
  10. Phil the practice when they burried those things was to run the bulldosers over them to stop the bad guys from getting them,

  14. They burried this stuff everywhere, the way they did it is dig a hole with bulldosers place the aircraft in it.Then run the bulldosers over then so they could stick more in.They did it at Seymour Vic.
  15. I live in Wangaratta and worked at Precision aviation, that used to be Air World.I lost a few years with a double lung transplant then this year a new single lung,Now it's back to work with some friends at Wang airport with a company they have started called Border aviation doing all types of Aircraft work.I mainly built fuselages for Kittyhawks P-39 fuses and wings when at Precision and probably will do some work there also.4 of the fuses i built are flying including Alan Arthurs P-40,you can Google it or see it on You Tube. Mick
