I had a great day, 0.8hrs circuits. I Also fly out of YWOL. I've been flying the J170. After today I have 4.8hrs Total. Bit Bumpy today and a bit of cross wind but lots of fun. I will see you down there if I havent already (I never remember Names)

0.8 hrs touch n go's 15 kts combined crosswind-headwind bumpy air . Also passed my radio test and am doing all radio calls.

68Volski My wife got me a intro flight in the Gazelle at Goulburn for christmas. I live in shellharbour so started flying out of Wollongong Jabirus 160 & 170. My wife took the pic with the Gazelle. It's going to be an expensive christmas presant by the time I finish my training and of course I now want my own plane. Maybe for next christmas. LOL Hi dazza Cheers Ivan

0.6 Hours yesterday touch n go's Calm winds no traffic. Landigs where good but a bit fast and therfore floaty.

Thank you cscottendry for your reply I Understand an exact calculation could be difficult, a reasonable estimate give use a very good idea of the real cost. As for the Wire Scew ect.. I would add the total length and all the screw as you may not have otherwise purchased them and may never use the left overs IMO. Thanks again for the info. Very much appreciated.

Interesting that there are no replies. Someone would have kept records and calculated the cost. I would also be interested in the all up cost.

Another hour of low passes and 0.5 hours of touch N Go's. Then the rain came and reduced visibility. Also passed my first test (Pre Solo)

Can the Rotax 912 be fitted to a J120 or would this cause to great a balance issue?

Last couple of weeks 0.6hrs Turns, Climbs, Decents. First Landing. 1.1hrs climb to 3,000 Turns, decend to circuit 6 or 7 fly by's with crosswind.

Hello All This is what I have done so far 2 Hours Flying and a lot of reading. 1 hour in a Jabiru 160 and 1 hour in a Gazelle. Bad weather this weekend so no flying. Training at Illawarra Regional Airport AKA Wollongong Airport, Albion Park Airport, YWOL. Flying just for fun.
