Hello all. What im seeking here is some converstation and if anyone has any statistical data comparing GA and Ultra lights in a safety comparison. I have been trying to seek out data and can find the GA stuff on ATSB but cannot find much at all on frequency of accidents on Ultra lights. What are the safest ones to fly? just a quick question. Are there any rules on the age of passengers with a RA pilot. I figure if they can fit they harness that should be fine. Can anyone elaborate. Oh and you would need parent consent. Any feedback appreciated. Jim .

GA RA Jess, I have started to do my GA and just changed over to RA due to the costs. I was paying $258 for a lesson in GA and now paying $155 in RA. I will cross back over to GA in the future and get credit for hours and skills attained in RA which will save me thousands of dollars on my calculations. You will need GA for Angel stuff that is for sure and probably plently of hours. Have fun!!!! Jim

Hiya all, I am new to forum and training at lethbride. I was training GA at Geelong airport but decided to go the cheaper option and train in a much nicer aircraft than the 30 YO 152. As I Friday I should be learning in a Tecnam 92. looking forward to getting into flying and so far found the club to be a friendly fun place. hoping to enter into a sydicate for a plane shortly and get some good hours up.
