Nice to see they made it

How did you loose 13kgin two weeks

One of the issues i find being on the larger size with flying is when a fellow pilot invites you to go flying and you have to decline as you will most likely put his aircraft over MTOW

I found out a few years ago i had sleep a disorder after talking to my doctor he suggested the sleep study and so i now have a sleep machine. they are worth it. I tried to get my class 2 back a few years ago but then decided that i didn't want to play there game.

That's what i hate about using school aircraft.it sucks because you have no idea what the pilot did on the last flight. In the case of flying schools and clubs, quite often the offender gets away scot-free, but the next person to hire the now weakened airframe loses his life in mild turbulence.- 1

Better to be a live chicken:clap:I've done the trip Laverton (WA) to Yulara (Ayres Rock) a few times. You can fly direct over double tiger country, or go via Warburton Range and be over a frequently used road for most of the trip. The difference is about 15 minutes at 120 kts - or your life perhaps.I'm also reminded of my yellow streak when looking at my logbook entries for crossing Torres Strait. The 4 ferry flights I did from PNG to Aus were via every island between Saibai and Horn Is, (and that was in the days before most of them had strips).happy days,

Yes same here pull the power off at random places and see if you can make the runway. I have watched one of the forum members YouTube videos he flys a gt500 he keeps his pattern work high and tight

I sure we all sit there with our wives at the movies and say that's not real and that plane would never take off like that

yes I would say we all love the bling of flash aircraft. I just found out that the aircraft I am just about to start flying is cheaper dual then the aircraft I was flying at the solo rateLooks like the problem is such a large capital investment in an aircraft, I see on this thread a school hires its Lightwing at $150 per hour.A number of schools have a $150k aircraft..... do your sums as to what the interest and redemption will be. Then do the exercise on a $30k aircraft. To me it would be better with the little war horse instead of the fancy expensive thing.

I get the feeling the some of your more flash training school don't want people who already know how to fly. I had one encounter where i asked about booking an aircraft and they informed me i would have to be checked out.I informed them i was already and had only flown a week ago he then responded that they don't do private hire only supervised solo.

Looking at some of pictures it looks like they came in hard. A lot of schools use DA40 was it a training flight?
