  1. Converted from 4 x micro turbines to 4 x electric ducted fans but does it fly better ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCe4Zh7709w

  2. Tyler Perry's 1st flight of Ramy RC's Giant 149KG XXL C-17 Globemaster at Airliner Meeting 2024. Tyler flies in less than ideal conditions on the first day (i.e. Friday) of the Airliner Meeting Show. There was a 15mph cross wind but that didn't stop him from getting this big quad EDF powered jet into the air. This unique EDF jet was constructed by Ramy RC in Atlanta, United States and shipped to Oppingen, Germany just for this event. It weights 149KG and is powered by 4 200mm EDFs running on 14S. The maximum pack capacity used per EDF is 17000mah. Wingspan is 6.4 meters (21 ft), length is 6.35 meters (20.9 ft). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWqBVa7edUQ

  3. Trimmed out on first flight. Landed and adjusted rudder clevis into 3rd hole on the rudder horn for more throw. Let the 2nd flight do the talking.
  4. Sounds good for an electric ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdOZDiLsGuE

  5. I'm looking forward to trying one of these soon. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n05stHRwTvg
  6. Building this is one thing...but having the skill to fly it indoors is something else. Great skill demonstrated by master aero-modeller Andrew White. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sg33nACI9jA

  7. Canopy plastic wasn't clear enough to put an FPV camera inside so I mounted it up on the tail. Nice view seeing the aeroplane in the foreground with the scenery below... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UdfcBtplEU

  8. First flight. Needs some work but good to get it in the air. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvUbykwo1ko

  9. Our first time trying to fly Spitfires in formation. A few improvements required and I'll convert the 2nd Spitfire to FPV. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1F074H0bsA

  10. The most fun I've had doing RC in a long time...
  11. Ultimate head tracked FPV. Looking forward to some formation flights with Red 2 in near future. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xx0KNdf518
  12. Bad cross wind on that day and we get turbulence off the top of the trees at that location. I was focussing on reading the telemetry more than smooth flying most of the time. Some improvements still to make. Not sure why distance to home wasn't showing in the telemetry. I will look into that. And because I'm using a flight controller I will on future flights take advantage of the gyro stabilisation.
  13. I wouldn't have thought long flight times were possible with an EDF jet. Seems I was wrong! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrIq7ZYHqGw
  14. At only $65 for the ELRS version it's a great option for anyone joining the hobby... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqOkHOK4tBw

  16. Beautiful and skilful aero-modelling. Despite being light this tiny electric ducted fan model is still quite quick and obviously challenging to fly in this sports hall. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gGjLFpPvPI

  18. Fantastic little Super Decathlon that goes together very quickly in 20 minutes due to the design and completeness of the kit. I set mine up on my Radiomaster TX16S transmitter and a Spektrum receiver. First flight I was doing all the aerobatic moves I could think of ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8I4oCi-e8k
  19. I have flown so many foamies recently I'd forgotten how good a balsa model could actually be. OMP obviously take pride in the quality of their product. Arrives in an almost bullet proof container to protect it from any knocks during shipping and you can understand that when you see how light the components are. Takes just a few minutes to assemble the PNP version. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yncjEx0124U
  20. A demonstration of great skill by this pilot when the engine on his Spitfire quits and he has to execute a down wind landing to stand any chance of getting it home safely https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mSM-DPeXnE
