  1. Sharing vide of the first water trials of this amazing 1:4 scale twin turbine powered Convair Sea Dart created by The Little Jet Company. The Convair F2Y Sea Dart was an American seaplane fighter aircraft that rode on twin hydro-skis during takeoff and landing. It flew only as a prototype, and never entered mass production. It is the only seaplane to have exceeded the speed of sound. It was created in the 1950s, to overcome the problems with supersonic planes taking off and landing on aircraft carriers. The program was canceled after a series of unsatisfactory results and a tragic accident on 4 November 1954, in which test pilot Charles E. Richbourg was killed when the Sea Dart he was piloting disintegrated in midair. The four surviving planes were retired in 1957, but some were kept in reserve until 1962. In this first video you will see the Sea Dart on the water and accelerate to a fast taxi for the first time. Video of the second test is coming very soon! SPECIFICATION: Length (including pitot tube): 5 meters Power: Twin JetCat P300s Guidance: Jeti Radio Electronics: MKS servos on Flight controls. Savox waterproof servos on Water Rudder. Weight: 100 kgs with fuel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bm2FjRvnSVs
  2. Truly spectacular scratch built aeromodelling. In a world of ready to fly RC aircraft these are rare and beautiful to watch in action. These aircraft are built from Falcon Aviation kits and Tony Nijhuis plans, have a wingspan of 17 feet and are 1/6th scale. Each model weights about 87 pounds without fuel and are powered by four Zenoah 38s. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KDjWx2gtrRQ
  3. A compressed action compilation of modern and classic RC Airliners from a meeting I attended in Germany. Enjoy !

  5. Bit fiddly but it works ! Looking forward to the first formation flight with my fellow RC A-10 pilots...

  6. Dietmar and Chris are known for their amazing creativity when it comes to designing and building super light RC aeroplanes to be flown at shows in Germany...but this latest project is just brilliant. They give a flight demo outside and then they give me some insight into the inspiration, power system, vectored thrust, flight stabilisation and what the scale model will look like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fEjnYi2WpBM

  8. Always some degree of stress flying most RCs but this Night Vapor just let's you unwind after a hard day in the office. Perfect for zero to light winds and so controllable can operate in a very small space. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrEC1gVqvko

  9. Awesome Su-27. Created from the CARF Models kit with two micro turbine engines for power. Wingspan is 68" (2200 mm) and length 126" (3200 mm). Weight is 50 - 53 lb (23 - 24 kg). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZWElPBUkTY
  10. In storage for 15 -20 years so a few things needed replacing and updating but it's ready to go for it's re-maiden...as is the Concorde in the background. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3KvGV0GwTM
  11. Second flight. It likes a bit of low inverted this thing... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LswySpaARYI
  12. Super little "almost ready to fly" warbird in this size just like it's predecessors in this 750mm series from HobbyKing. Assembly takes minutes and flies like a much larger model due to the clever ORX gyro stabiliser. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rrnf4TlRNy0
  13. One of the most ingenious things I have ever filmed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0f2W8L6xa2E
  14. A night flight of Jurgen's amazing F4U Corsair. At 3.1 metres wingspan how did he manage to keep it to only 4 KG with it's wing folding mechanism and twist and turn retractable landing gear ?! Amazing building and flying skills demonstrated here... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ldngc4fz3yU

  15. A fantastic creation demonstrated at Old Warden Aerodrome at the ModelAir event and in the hands of this experienced pilot it really was a joy to capture it flying in the warm breeze. Richard the owner and pilot shared that this is a model of 1934 Weir - W2 at roughly 1:6 scale. The full size aircraft is at the National Museum of Flight in Scotland.

  16. The most compact way to determine the max speed of your RC whether it be surface or air. Powered off the balance plug on your lipo. Also gives pack voltage. So small and light it can practically fit in any RC. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Da4EvVmDHas
  17. Amazing and unique twin Jet Central Mammoth turbine engine powered ME-262. A unique scratch built model. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUOWHSG2EgM
  18. Just the best sound you can hear from under the cowl of an FW-190. Moki 150cc 5 cylinder radial. Sounds stunning. 19. This seriously large P-47 was flown at the Stow Maries Scale RC Show by John Mason of TJD Models. It has wingspan of 122 inches, the weight is around 70 lbs and the model is powered by a DLE-170. Other engine options for this giant are the DA-200, DLE-222, MOKI 250 and 300. Plan available at http://www.meister-scale.com/Thunderbolt25/index.html https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvjI76zmSzc

  22. Amazing flights by Seba Silvestri experimenting with the broad CG range of this iconic airliner. An additional kit to install the realistic nose movement is available. It can either be powered by two 90mm EDFs with 12S 8000mAh Lipos or one or two turbines. Length: 3400mm Wingspan: 1450mm Engine: 2× 90mm Electric Ducted Fan or 2 x 45N turbine Battery: 12S 8000mA/h (2x6s 8000mA/h) Flying Time: ~ 7 Minutes Take Off Weight: Depending on the equipment 11-12 kg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPGDhscw7DE
  23. Very quick assembly but the transmitter setup for the elevons and canards was a little challenging. On first flight I failed to get this jet in the air with 6S6000 pack. CG too far forward. But with 6S5000 it jumped into the air. Trimmed out for roll quickly on first circuit then hit the deck for low smooth passes and nice axial rolls. Another excellent jet from Freewing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0CAVJPYq8M

  24. Quick assembly with no glue, drop in your receiver and battery pack and it cruises along even in gusty wind. Great to see the iconic shape of the Hurricane in the sky with this relatively cheap but very good looking warbird.
