Soleair
Blimey - look at the specs on this ! So all they need is someone to build it, a few years troubleshooting, and it's jam tomorrow - yaay! Meanwhile, anyone got an exhaust to sell for a 503? Bruce
keith.b
Can't see how they can call it a rotary when it has reciprocal pistons (Flaps)..... Keith

bexrbetter
Come on, Bex - you're just anxious it might work! Yeah, nah, same old , same old for a rotary; Too much combustion surface area and sealing issues, they have achieved nothing other than make one even more complicated.. Type rotary engine into Youtube, Google Patents or PESwiki sometime, give yourself a week or two to go through them. The Douglas site is awesome too for investigating everything that's "been done before". http://www.douglas-self.com/MUSEUM/POWER/unusualICeng/rotaryIC/rotaryIC.htm http://www.douglas-self.com/MUSEUM/museum.htm The only engine I fear is Rotax's next update.
