Teewah: North shore out of Tewantin. An airstrip sit just off the coast behind the ridge. You might try and contact the Sunshine Coast hang gliding club or Dave Cookman up there who also flies (instructs?) in trikes as well.

The airfield at Teewah is no longer used by fixed wing aircraft as it is not deemed safe for them,and the good news is it is only used for ultralights hang gliders helicopters and

 

model aircraft.gps on google earth 26 18.813 south 153 02.685 east.There is a windsock,no fuel, the runway is unsealed dirt and there are crosses marked on the southern runway.Runway lengths are 900m and 500m.If
