fred cenko Posted March 28, 2015 Share Posted March 28, 2015 The airfield at Teewah is no longer used by fixed wing aircraft as it is not deemed safe for them,and the good news is it is only used for ultralights hang gliders helicopters and model aircraft.gps on google earth 26 18.813 south 153 02.685 east.There is a windsock,no fuel, the runway is unsealed dirt and there are crosses marked on the southern runway.Runway lengths are 900m and 500m.If you cant get hold of Dave,then ring Airport operations manager 075453 1505,or wayne Cambie Noosa Model Aircraft Club on 0407 760975 mob.Cheers. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
