Downunder Posted September 27, 2015 Share Posted September 27, 2015 I see Glasair have developed a LSA, the "Merlin". http://www.glasairaviation.com/merlin.html Merlin Is A Composite High-Wing, Tricycle Gear Aircraft Designed To Meet LSA Certification Requirements Based On ASTM Standards. It Is Fitted With A Rotax 912iS Engine And Dynon’s Skyview Glass-Panel Avionics. Glasair Also Plans To Offer An Optional BRS Parachute System. The SLSA Will Also Be The Company’s First Certified Aircraft. 600 kg MTOW, 358 kg(a bit heavy) empty but probably a "solid" aircraft. Unusual yoke, but it's a stick thingy........ The company cooperates with the Van's Aircraft manufacturing company in the manufacture and sales.
