Tomo, The one I saw was at Rutherford (west maitland) being built by Lance Fletcher who was one of the engineers attached to RNAC. Newcastle. I was about the age you are now so it's not yesterday. Just the plane to round out your basic aviation experience. Shouldn't have a windscreen or it would have to forfeit the name "Breezy". Find a crashed tripacer and build your own. Take a 200hp expensive engine, add lots of money and you can have the best of America- a over weight, under performing wet dream that costs a awful lot more money to buy and run. No pesky worries with Safety- this bird has none except a lap belt. Nothing to complicate the experience. Built for stability with weight never been a consideration. Take off better than a train. No silly cabin structures to spoil the view, and with a handy self ejecting design means you never stay with the aircraft in a crash. Stalls are as easy as flying, for greater real thrills. Climbs like a dying angel and landings are normally rock solid- but you may hit other things for variety. Sounds Perfect. Pilot flies from the rear seat, so reference wouldn't to to bad I don't reckon. Probably better than the Dragonfly ultralight where your attitude reference is your toes. Finding a passenger for the front seat would probably be the hardest part of the flight. Shoulder harness probably would be a reasonable investment. Not sure that this is something I would want for myself though, 200hp is going to take some feeding n watering and in this day and age I'd probably prefer a 912 powered aircraft.
