I have a country customer who requires a 912 ignition module Part No 966 721. It is the one that has a single, 4 pin, and six pin plugs.

If you have one laying around I'd happy to hear from you..............Thanks. Maj.........024_cool.gif.7a88a3168ebd868f5549631161e2b369.gif

Thanks Maj….I believe they are epoxy filled but that isn't a problem now days….I saw one pulled apart a few years ago there didn't seem to be too much in them…I am sure I could build one after having a look at one…or two :)

Yeah...I saw the US price for one of those modules at about $1100....by the time floods get involved and the US Dollar to AUD Fx rate movements I suppose its not far off having a whole Jabby overhaul done....<Runs for cover>

Not bad for what Im guessing, and presumably Mark is also guessing is a probably less than $50 0f components....assuming no specialist IC's have been made by Rotax that then makes that idea a waste of thought.....

I saw inside of one a few years ago a guy had pulled part…I am sure there was nothing special in there at all so I think it will be relatively easy to do…also will upgrade the the components if I deem it necessary to better spec ones

Hi Tom, a while ago Roger gave me the circuit layout for a led light indicator for the ford air con mixer motor that you put me on to,to use for elevator trim.

I looked at it for a day or two then figured it was way above me, so Roger has kindly made one for me and he fitted it in a cute little plastic box with the led display bar protruding far enough so I only need to do the panel cutout for the led bar only.........very cool.

cheers

G'day Jimbo, the trim motor has been working for me for around 9years on the Savannah with no probs. I built my trim position indicator from a Dick Smith led level meter funway kit years ago, Dick Smith alas doesn't have that kind of thing anymore.
