Excellent pics Terry ;) Brings back memories of my old T300. Sorry I ever sold it 049_sad.gif.af5e5c0993af131d9c5bfe880fbbc2a0.gif Looks like some good tiger country you fly over too :) The advantage of the rag and tube scene mate. Jump out before you hit anything 006_laugh.gif.0f7b82c13a0ec29502c5fb56c616f069.gif

Holden blimp over Western Suburbs, Sydney

Now we had a visitor over our place this morning and I thought I would snap some pics. Now I have edited this (and I will admit) to get rid of a tree out of the bottom of the frame. I am thinking it looks like and air to air shot above the clouds. I was quite impressed with the result!

WINNER: AUSTRALIAN FLYING SEPTEMBER PHOTO COMP

It was quality not quantity this month; maybe the rest have been too busy making money, rather than flying it down the drain. (Talk about having their priorities wrong!) This month's prize goes to Terry for his series "A day flying in Southern Tassie" - for the smile that his photos can't help but put on our face with the sheer joy that flying can bring. Congratulations Terry and please let me have your postal details.

Special mention also goes to Darren Masters for his excellent shots taken at the Narromine airshow. The Connie at Sunset was fantastic, and three minutes earlier would have been even better, just to allow a little more light on the subject. I also loved "Pilot refuelling", only that the hose was covering his face. All great fun, keep the pics rolling in.

Thanks. I have re-entered the images into the October comp this time with a little less fuel hose in the face! I did not even notice that in the shot. Was probably too busy looking at the Extra :) I did want the Connie a few mins before but ended up being tied up with the refuelling shots. It is all great fun though!
