Cropmaster

Recommended Posts

Just found this site. I have had a licence for the last 20 yrs (CPL A). Reside near Gore, Southland NZ. Currently consumed with restoring a Yeoman Cropmaster (series 2) which my father used to fly.

Definitely not a trivial job! Any idea when it might fly? What do you fly now?rgmwa

Yes it has been a total restoration. The wings are 90% finished from a complete rebuild (due to corrosion). Still aiming to be flying easter 2016.

Ahoy Cropmaster .................. here is the reply from the bloke in the middle (its ZK CPW) - pilot who ended up with 30K + hours !

'Hi John, Air Services had ZK-CPW in May 1969 while Agwagon ZK-CSF was repaired after an engine failure after take -off. Lovely aircraft to fly very light in the controls.

cheers

Robert'

Beaver at back is ZK CKH - cowls off - RHS bloke is the engineer ............. no doubt fixing it

Good luck with your restoration

That's it, I'm increasing my shares in the rivet company tomorrow!

If you need some Hi-loks (HL86PBW6) I have about 5,000 of them, in sealed bags of 500, I can do at an attractive price! Also a couple of hundred of HL70-8
