soarsimon
Hi, I just discovered this forum and thought I would join up and see who's here. I'm a free flight para glider pilot and GA student pilot (just lack the PP check ride). I'm interested in the least expensive practical powered flight available. Something like a minimax or quicksilver. Ultralight or LSA. Looking forward to new introductions and new information! Thanks' Simon

Soleair
G'day Simon. MiniMax is a great little plane, and as low cost as you can get for a new 'real' aeroplane. If you haven't already found it, here's a link to the excellent Lonesome Buzzards forum. Makes great reading! Bruce
facthunter
I have a little reservation about the undercart on the "Max" series. No give. Welcome aboard. Nev

recflyer
Welcome, have you checked out www.bydanjohnson.com. It has great reviews and news about ultralights and LSAs.
facthunter
Bruce,I worried about the lack of give and the possibility of taller grass tangling in it. (cross axle and struts) if you did an outlanding..Nev
