I believe the stairs/door would normally be powered open/close.

A tad unusual to have a stick/prop under the stairs.😈

It's acted and not technically accurate. Very common with Aeroplane related stuff.. Excusable in "Flying High" or the Magnificent Men and their Flying Machines.  Both Terribly Funny. Nev
