This is a great video and a really impressive company. The video is an hour long and full of lots of interesting detail.

 

Just put aside for a moment that these things are near on a million dollars and outside the budget of most of us.

Think of it as the supercar of recreational flying  (you'll probably never own a Ferrari either)

If it was 200 knots on 100 hp, that would be something to crow about😈

No 2 place aircraft will ever do 200knots level with only 100hp because they all fly in the same fluid. The vans rv9 with a rotax 916 will get very close to the JMB for speed and still retains the many advantages of a fixed under carriage.

Never say never - its amazing how well a few individuals have done with scratch - modified airframes delivering astonishing speed from small engines.

 

Its equally amazing how slick marketing can suck in the gullible 😈

Seeing  those lancair evolution airframes at the end of the JMB vid reminded me of this "accident". Know your aircraft.
