As someone who has seen a lot of car and truck engines on the up side of "cooked to buggery", engine temperature senders are WATER temperature senders not AIR temperature senders. Otherwise there would be not a lot of advantage of being set in the water jacket. -
Because it creates a low pressure area. The air becomes less able to support the weight of the dissolved water (water vapor) and so it condenses into clouds. Similar to orogenic clouds over mountains.

Nice one Tomo. Curtiss XP-62 I originally thought it was a Grumman looking at the image.. namely the XF-14C but the tail was too high and the canopy was different. This one also had a radial version. Stanzahero.

Hi Jay, I do see it as a nice aircraft... And I do think I'd be better off buying a factory built plane as even sandwiches that I put together fall apart.. The price and weight puts it in that same category as the bigger aircraft - not achievable; ... for me currently, anyway. Stanzahero.

I didn't realize the Hurricane had a dihedral on the tail... Unless you mean a "REAL LITTLE BIT", or it was painted with roundels, your screen must be fuzzy, Jay. :)
