The" stupidity " of the ' new ' rule is the car not yet " in the roundabout " can speed- up " & cut you off as you
enter . He's breaking the speed limit .
But your in the wrong .
That I had to see if it's true.
' no. more give way to your right '
First in best dressed .

My ' mobility scooter ' has two 40 ah lead acid batteries.
That cost more than a 100 ah marine battery .
More importantly is the fact that an empty battery weighs almost the same as a full one , so , the aircraft doesn't go out of balance like my Hummel-Bird.
Take off with the ( over your legs ) fuel tnk full , heavy nose .
Land with near empty tnk , & tail heavy . Easier to stall in landing configuration.

That's why I asked that question.

You mean ' fuel tank ' . Every plane will have an appropriate sized tank to the
Physical size of the plane .
40 hp in an ultralight , will have a much smaller tnk than a large GA registered one.
A N70 lead acid battery weighs in at 24 kgrms .
15 ltrs petrol weighs 10.5 kgms . For two hours flight plus reserve .
I'm thinking I C beats E V in this aeroplane .

What is the " battery " weight ( used for aircraft ). Compared to 98 petrol weigh
( litre ) .

One ( monowheel ) is used by a
Hummel-Bird pilot , can't get much smaller.

Just like having to pay for a " road rules " book .
I pay'd because of the " roundabout " stupidity " .
Should have stay with ' give way to the right ' .
Not, race in to be first .

I ' cheat ' .
I carry a " boat fuel tank. When filling my " Jerry cans" .
Approximately 80 ltrs , in all .
But it gets awkward when " 20 ltrs of 98 for
Hummel-Bird
20 ltrs 95 for marine and stationary engines .
Plus diesel .
Never ever buy that low grade adulterated alcohol blend .It killed my garden equipment motors .
As for " bad " service stations fuel , my bro-inlaw had it happen , and blew the fuel pump a few clicks
from servo . Insurance paid out.

Most ' Nullarbor Road ' stations have a good airstrip .
Also , have camping area's . And , a $ 3,000 towing bill .

ZI-NI Is not as hard wearing as chrome .
Which was my thinking before . " rust protection & wear resistance " .
If your 'Old ' leg has a little wear , & is a little sloppy '.
The Plating could be a metal builder .

Chroming seems to be very hard wearing , and doesn't rust like bare metal .
But
It is now, of this year banned in all new car manufacturing.
seems another " greening " of, what was, will never be again .
The ' world ' is in retro,
We will soon back to the dark age of " horse & cart .
No coal, burn tree's.
Ne plastic bags , cut down more tree for " brown paper bags " .
No more IC omnibuses , back to " trams " .
instead of electrification of buses . ( no rails. needed ).
What a world to leave for our descendants .

Just saying .
But it would be fantastic to even do those high speed
Pre-takeoff runs.
Instead of " close your eyes & dream of " ,
soaring like an eagle.

That ' fiasco ' of REGISTERED aircraft being removed from RaAus registration. BUT could be " grandfathered " to fly,
When never registered , ( only have to say " it has been flown previously " ).
Can I fly my 10-1103 , in Queensland . It was registered.
I HAVE THOSE AUF PAPERS .
( and my weight is getting closer to flying maximum weight ).

I often wonder ! ,about the ' airfield bowser ' , sitting up in the open , & out in all
weathers , Do those bowsers have a ' water drain ' or have rust inside .
The outside are not painted on many , so, what would the I side look like.
spacesailor

My mistake.
Yes it works very quickly.

Perhaps a litte leniency for us mortals .
Nothing on my aircraft is , or ever will be " tso " or compliant to aviation standards.
It's a home built ultralight weight aircraft .
That has been no problems with ' nosewheel legs ' failing to my knowlede .
( I could ask if there has been a broken nose wheel leg ever ).
I was thinking of chroming my ' noseleg ' to fight rust on the wear parts ,after the grease has rubbed away . ( not high-grade steel ) .

Petrolspy
Just tried for Parks NSW . " no matches found " .
Not good for me .
I'll cheat & offer a ' joyride ' for a couple of Gerry cans of 98 premium petrol.
The locals would love to see their house from above.

How much will CASA . EXPECT ?
IT WOULDN'T BE CHEAP
by any one's expectations.
No licene/certificate,
No registration/third party Insurance .
Throw the book at him, will be the cry ! .

Sydney has " polair " .
Popularly known as " pigs in space " .
White lines on roadway for polair to calculate your speed.

Lugging fuel to your deserted airfield……
in AUS/NZ General Discussion

" the above does not allow for aggressive
( illegal )behaviour " .
You wrote it yourself . & there's the problem. Especially
Those new racing drivers , with their new Ps .
TheY also enjoy those " Driver Annoying Devices " .
That are bad for ( miss Daisy ( Driving miss Daisy)) .
Old or inferm with aching bones , being shaken around .
